$200 Transmission Rebate
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: How do I know if I’m eligible for the Goodwrench $200 Transmission Rebate (VISA debit card)?
A: To be eligible for the $200 Transmission Mail-in (or Fax) Rebate (VISA debit card), you must
purchase a Genuine GM Parts transmission from and have it installed at a participating Buick,
Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, or Pontiac dealer between September 1, 2010 and December 31, 2010 (“the
Promotion Period”). Only 1999 or older GM passenger cars or light-duty trucks (excluding Saab) are
eligible.

Q: What information do I need for rebate submission?
A: All pertinent information needed to complete your rebate request is located on the repair order
received from your dealership. Remember to mail a copy of your repair order with the online
Confirmation Page or hand written Rebate Form. Rebate requests must be submitted by January 31,
2011.

Q: What if I cannot find my copy of the Repair Order?
A: Contact the dealer that performed your repairs and they can re-print another repair order for you. A
copy of your repair order is needed in order to mail or fax along with the online Confirmation Page or
hand written rebate form.

Q: Where would I find the Repair Order Number?
A: Typically the repair order number is located in the top section of the repair order in close proximity to
the customer information. In some instances it may be referred to as the Invoice Number.

Q: How do I submit my rebate request?
A: There are two ways to submit your claim for the $200 Transmission Rebate (VISA debit card):

(1) Via the expedited online rebate claim process, where you complete your profile and repair data,
submit your rebate form online, and then mail or fax the Confirmation Page and a copy of your
repair order to $200 Transmission Rebate, Powertrain Rebate Headquarters, PO Box 165810,
N. Kansas City, MO 64116 or fax to (816) 472-9944.

The online process is for customers who would rather submit their claim online versus filling out
a hand written form. This system allows for faster processing of your rebate because it
validates the transmission part number that was installed on your vehicle and helps to ensure
important consumer information is accurate and legible, which otherwise can delay claim
processing.

In the past, inaccurate and illegible information has made it difficult to fulfill some rebates and
we want to do everything we can to satisfy all of our customers.

(2) Via the hand written Rebate Form. GM Goodwrench dealers are currently providing hard copies
of the rebate claim form for those customers that would rather not use the electronic online
rebate process. If you did not receive a rebate form from your dealer, you can print the form by
clicking on the Official Rules and Rebate Form link at the bottom of the online home page.
Simply complete the rebate form and mail or fax the form along with a copy of your repair order
to $200 Transmission Rebate, Powertrain Rebate Headquarters, PO Box 165810, N. Kansas City,
MO 64116 or fax to (816) 472-9944. Rebate requests must be submitted by January 31, 2011.

Q: Why do I have to submit a copy of my repair order and the confirmation page if I am submitting
my rebate request online?
A: All of our GM Goodwrench dealers are individual businesses with separate sales reporting systems.
Therefore, in order to validate the part number and repair we require a copy of the repair order. We
developed the online process for our customers who would rather submit their claim online versus
filling out a hand written form. The electronic rebate form option validates the transmission part
number that was installed on your vehicle and helps to insure that consumer information is accurate
and legible, so the rebate claim can be processed more quickly when we receive the online
confirmation page and repair order copy in the mail or via fax.

Q: How much time do I have to claim my rebate?
A: The deadline for the online claim process or hard written rebate form process, and mail-in receipt
postmark is January 31, 2011. Faxed claims must be received by January 31, 2011.

Q: Where do I mail my rebate request?
A: Make a clean, legible copy of your repair order and mail it with a printed copy of your online
Confirmation Page or hand written Rebate Form to:
$200 Transmission Rebate
Powertrain Rebate Headquarters
P.O. Box 165810
N. Kansas City, MO 64116

Q: Where do I fax my rebate request?
A: Make a clean, legible copy of your repair order and fax it with a printed copy of your online
Confirmation Page or hand written Rebate Form to (816) 472-9944.

Q: How long does it take to process a rebate?
A: Please allow 6-8 weeks, from mailing of your online Confirmation Page or hand written Rebate Form
and copy of your repair order, to receive your VISA debit card.

Q: How long is my $200 VISA debit card valid?
A: The $200 VISA Debit Card is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

Q: What happens if I do not receive my VISA debit card after the prescribed period?
A: If you have not received your VISA debit card after the 6-8 week period, please contact 1-877-348-
1822.

Q: Where can I use the VISA debit card?
A: The VISA debit card can be used anywhere that VISA is accepted. The VISA debit card cannot be
used at an ATM. Certain restrictions may apply at pay-at-the-pump fueling stations. A complete
instruction guide is included with each VISA debit card issued.
